Indian households chose Parle products 8.5 billion times in 2025, keeping the brand at the top of the in-home FMCG rankings.

Parle Products has retained its position as India’s most chosen in-home FMCG brand for the 14th consecutive year, according to the Brand Footprint India 2026 report by Worldpanel by Numerator.

Founded in Mumbai in 1929, Parle recorded 8.5 billion consumer choices in Indian households during 2025. That translates to nearly 23 million choices a day, or more than 250 every second.

The company also recorded 8.5 billion Consumer Reach Points (CRPs), the highest among FMCG brands in India.

Parle’s Reach Across India

The Brand Footprint report ranks FMCG brands based on consumer purchase behaviour. CRPs are calculated using the number of households buying a brand, its household penetration and purchase frequency.

Parle’s extensive distribution network remains a key part of its reach. The company has more than 130 manufacturing units, 7,000 distributors and over 75 lakh retail outlets.

Four brands in its portfolio generate more than ₹1,000 crore in annual revenue. Parle also has a direct presence in more than 10 countries and exports its products to over 125 countries.

Trust Built Over Generations

Mayank Shah, Chief Marketing Officer at Parle Products, said the 14th consecutive ranking reflects the trust consumers have built in the brand over generations.

He attributed Parle’s continued reach to its product quality, value, pricing and distribution, while noting that its portfolio has evolved alongside changing consumer preferences.

The company’s portfolio includes widely recognised brands such as Parle-G, Monaco, KrackJack, Hide & Seek and Melody, spanning biscuits and confectionery.

A Long-Standing FMCG Leader

The Brand Footprint report has been published in India since 2013 and measures brands through actual consumer purchasing behaviour.

For Parle, maintaining the top position for 14 consecutive years highlights the strength of its household penetration and repeat purchases.

Nearly a century after its founding, the company continues to hold a prominent place in India’s FMCG market, with 8.5 billion consumer choices in a single year serving as a strong measure of that reach.
