Users on eligible Jio plans can claim Canva Pro or Pro Lite at no extra cost through the MyJio app, with premium design and AI tools available for up to 12 months.
Jio users in India will get access to Canva’s premium design tools for free under a new collaboration between Reliance Jio and Canva.
Eligible users will be able to claim access to Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite through the MyJio app, bringing premium design features and AI-powered tools to millions of users across the country.
The partnership also focuses on making Canva’s services available in Indian languages, giving users the option to create content in the languages they are most comfortable using.
How to claim Canva Pro through MyJio
Jio users can access the Canva offer through the MyJio app.
Depending on their eligibility, users will be able to claim either Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite through the platform.
The collaboration is aimed at making professional design tools more accessible to students, creators, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
Kiran Thomas, President of Reliance Industries Ltd., said the partnership would put AI-powered design tools in the hands of millions of Indians through MyJio.
“Through Canva, we are placing world-class, AI-powered design tools in the hands of millions of Indians, free, and a tap away on MyJio,” Thomas said.
What does Canva Pro offer?
Canva provides a large library of premium templates and design resources that can be used to create presentations, marketing materials, social media content, and other visual assets.
Its AI-powered tools also help users generate and edit content without requiring advanced design skills.
Through the Jio partnership, these capabilities will become available to a much larger Indian user base, including people creating content for personal, educational, and business purposes.
Canva expands its reach in India.
The partnership marks another step in Canva’s expansion across the Indian market.
Cliff Obrecht, Canva Co-Founder and COO, said the collaboration would help the company reach more users across India and give them access to its creative tools.
“Partnering with Jio marks an exciting new chapter in our journey in India,” Obrecht said.
The focus on Indian languages is particularly significant for a market where a large portion of internet users increasingly consume and create digital content in languages other than English.
What Jio users get
The new collaboration brings three key benefits for eligible users:
- Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite access through MyJio
- Premium templates and design resources
- AI-powered creative tools and support for Indian languages
For students, creators, and small businesses, the offer could provide access to tools that would otherwise require a separate Canva subscription.
