Abu Dhabi will host the Global Entrepreneurship Festival from April 20 to 22, 2026, at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center.
By hosting the event, Abu Dhabi aims to create a practical platform that supports new businesses, encourages investment, and strengthens the emirate’s position as a centre for entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, the festival will take place under the patronage of Zayed bin Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His support reflects a wider effort to diversify the economy and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s role in building a broader and more sustainable economic base.
Connecting Capital, Talent, and Policy
The festival will bring entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, and government stakeholders together under one roof.
Rather than focusing only on discussion, organisers will create opportunities for direct engagement. As a result, participants will attend panels, workshops, and advisory sessions that address business development, funding options, and operational challenges more closely.
In addition, founders will gain direct access to decision-makers, while investors and policymakers will meet entrepreneurs with promising ideas. Consequently, the festival will reduce the usual gap between talent, capital, and regulation by placing everyone in the same environment.
Three Tracks for Different Stages of Growth
To support businesses at every stage, organisers have divided the festival into three main tracks.
Launch and Enablement Track
First, the Launch and Enablement Track will support early-stage startups. Through this programme, entrepreneurs will learn how to build strong business models, test ideas, and successfully enter the market.
Growth and Development Track
Next, the Growth and Development Track will focus on businesses that already operate in the market but want to expand further. Participants will explore ways to scale operations, refine strategy, and strengthen their position in the market.
Funding and Investment Track
Finally, the Funding and Investment Track will connect entrepreneurs directly with investors, financial institutions, and funding platforms. Therefore, startups and growing companies will have a clearer path to securing the capital they need.
Strong Institutional Support
At the same time, several major institutions will support the festival, giving it greater depth and credibility.
The initiative is backed by ADNOC, the Abu Dhabi Authority of Social Contribution (Ma’an), and the Athar+ programme.
Meanwhile, organisations such as the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Khalifa Fund, Abu Dhabi Chamber, Hub71, and Abu Dhabi Customs will help align regulatory, financial, and operational support.
Because of this broad institutional involvement, the festival represents more than a single event. Instead, it reflects a coordinated effort to build a stronger and more connected entrepreneurial ecosystem in Abu Dhabi.
Looking Forward
The Global Entrepreneurship Festival is positioned as a mechanism to bring structure to the startup landscape by aligning capital, capability, and policy within a single platform.
Its effectiveness will depend on how well these connections translate into sustained business activity beyond the event itself.
