The startup will use the funding to expand its rapid construction material delivery service across more cities.
Bengaluru-based construction materials startup HomeRun has raised $12 million in a Series A+ funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, as it looks to expand its rapid delivery service to more cities across India.
The round also saw participation from existing investors Sorin Investments, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital, and Consumer Collective by Atrium.
The latest investment comes just months after HomeRun raised $6 million earlier this year.
Funding to Fuel Expansion
HomeRun said the fresh capital will be used to expand into new markets while strengthening its supply chain, technology platform, and product categories.
Founded by Pukhraj Grewal, the startup delivers construction and interior materials to contractors and homeowners within 60 minutes. Its platform aims to solve common challenges in the construction industry, including unreliable supply, price uncertainty, last-minute material shortages, and project delays caused by labour downtime.
Bringing Quick Commerce to Construction
Unlike traditional procurement channels, HomeRun focuses on providing transparent pricing and fast delivery for building materials, helping contractors and homeowners complete construction, renovation, and repair projects more efficiently.
Founder and CEO Pukhraj Grewal said the construction materials market has remained fragmented for years despite growing demand.
“Building material procurement in India has remained fragmented and inefficient for far too long. At HomeRun, we’re making it as reliable, transparent, and fast as any modern commerce experience,” he said.
He added that the company plans to use the new funding to expand into additional cities and build what it aims to become India’s most trusted construction materials platform.
Investors See Large Market Opportunity
Nexus Venture Partners said HomeRun fits its investment thesis around modernising traditional supply chains while retaining the advantages of local merchants.
Partner Anand Datta said building materials remain one of the largest sectors that has yet to undergo meaningful digitisation. He added that HomeRun has demonstrated strong growth, healthy unit economics, and the ability to scale without relying on customer credit.
Sorin Investments, which backed the company six months ago, also increased its investment in the latest round, citing the startup’s execution and operational strength in managing a complex supply chain.
With the new funding, HomeRun plans to accelerate its expansion and strengthen its position in India’s growing construction and home improvement market.
