The agreement will strengthen access to digital services, data and statistics, and technology platforms designed to improve innovation and efficiency.
New agreement expands access to digital services, AI capabilities, and shared technology platforms across the Emirates Group.
Digital Dubai and Emirates Group have signed a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating digital transformation by expanding access to government digital platforms, strengthening data integration, and improving operational efficiency across the aviation group’s businesses.
The collaboration will allow Emirates Group to leverage Digital Dubai’s digital ecosystem while supporting the emirate’s broader vision of creating an integrated, technology-driven economy.
The agreement was signed by Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri, Chief Executive of the Digital Dubai Government Establishment, and Amira Al Awadhi, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Operations and Systems at Emirates. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai.
Expanding access to Dubai’s digital ecosystem
Under the agreement, Emirates Group will gain access to Digital Dubai’s digital services, technology enablement platforms, and data and statistics services.
The partnership also includes systems integration, secure data exchange, and broader adoption of shared digital platforms designed to improve collaboration between government and private sector organisations.
In addition to strengthening digital infrastructure, the initiative aims to improve employee experience, streamline internal operations, enhance digital readiness, and encourage the exchange of expertise and best practices between the two organisations.
Supporting AI adoption and operational efficiency
Commenting on the agreement, Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri said the partnership reflects Dubai’s vision of building an integrated digital ecosystem through closer collaboration between the public and private sectors.
He said accelerating digital transformation requires organisations to combine expertise, digital capabilities, and shared technology assets to deliver sustainable value across industries.
Al Hemeiri added that the agreement enables Emirates Group to benefit from Digital Dubai’s advanced digital platforms while supporting greater operational efficiency, improved service delivery, and faster adoption of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
He also said the partnership demonstrates how shared digital platforms can evolve continuously to meet the changing needs of businesses while strengthening Dubai’s position as a global centre for digital innovation and the digital economy.
Enhancing the employee experience
Oliver Grohmann, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Emirates Group, said the partnership will simplify internal processes and improve the employee experience by enabling faster workflows and real-time access to information.
He noted that reducing operational friction will allow employees to focus more effectively on higher-value work.
Grohmann added that the collaboration goes beyond improving convenience and efficiency. He said Dubai is developing integrated digital foundations designed to improve both business operations and everyday life, and Emirates Group is pleased to contribute to that broader vision.
Building stronger digital integration
According to both organisations, the agreement establishes a framework for collaboration based on Digital Dubai’s digital ecosystem, including service delivery standards, operational support, and information security measures aligned with internationally recognised standards.
The partnership also supports Dubai’s long-term strategy of expanding the adoption of shared government platforms, improving collaboration between public and private sector organisations, and strengthening the emirate’s digital economy.
As Dubai continues investing in artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and connected government services, the collaboration between Digital Dubai and Emirates Group represents another step toward creating a more integrated, efficient, and innovation-driven digital ecosystem.
