TCS Expands Latin America Footprint with Major Brazil Investment
Tata Consultancy Services has announced a $37 million investment to build its largest delivery centre in Brazil, reinforcing the country’s position as a strategic hub in the company’s global delivery network. The expansion will create more than 1,600 jobs and deepen TCS’s presence across Latin America.
The Indian IT services major said the new state-of-the-art campus will come up in Londrina, located in the southern Brazilian state of Paraná. Construction is expected to be completed by 2027.
Londrina Campus to Anchor Regional Operations
The upcoming facility will serve as a central delivery hub supporting clients across Brazil and the wider Latin American market. TCS said the centre will strengthen its ability to deliver technology-led business transformation across industries.
The announcement was made at an inaugural event held at Palácio Iguaçu, attended by Paraná Governor Carlos Roberto Massa Júnior, widely known as Ratinho Júnior, along with senior TCS leadership, including Bruno Rocha, Country Head of TCS Brazil.
State Support and Talent Pipeline Drive Investment
Governor Ratinho Júnior said the investment would help position Paraná as a leading IT services destination in Brazil. He highlighted the state government’s focus on early-stage technology education, programming, and artificial intelligence training.
He also pointed to Paraná’s extensive public university network and its growing emphasis on technology-led disciplines as key factors behind TCS’s decision to expand with a large-scale hiring plan.
TCS Reinforces Long-Standing Brazil Commitment
Bruno Rocha said Brazil continues to be a strategic market for TCS, backed by more than two decades of operations in the country. The company currently operates delivery centres in Londrina, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro, serving over 200 clients across sectors.
He added that TCS’s recognition as one of Brazil’s top employers for ten consecutive years reflects its people-first approach and deep-rooted local presence.
Consolidation and Scale Under One Campus
TCS currently employs around 2,500 people in Brazil, operating from three leased facilities. The new campus will consolidate the existing workforce into a single-owned location while creating capacity for future hiring.
Spread across 9,000 square metres, the campus will feature three newly constructed buildings and will be designed to meet LEED Gold Building Certification standards.
Technology-Led Growth and Innovation Focus
The new facility will function as a collaboration and innovation hub, supporting services across artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, ERP solutions, and digital transformation programs.
TCS said the expansion will also strengthen workforce capabilities in Google, AWS, SAP, and Microsoft technologies. This focus aims to drive innovation for both Brazilian enterprises and international clients served from the region.
A Long-Term Strategic Signal
The Brazil investment signals more than capacity expansion. It reflects TCS’s long-term confidence in Latin America as a growth market and its intent to anchor regional delivery with owned infrastructure, skilled talent, and sustainable operations.
As global clients demand resilient, nearshore delivery models, the Londrina campus positions TCS to serve the region with scale, stability, and technological depth.
