RN Kids secures investment from Ashish Kacholia to scale pediatric wellness solutions.
RN Kids has raised Rs 7.1 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi.
The round also saw participation from notable angel investors, including Mohit Sadaani, Hitesh Dhingra, Ajay Mehra, and Samir Palod, along with select family offices.
Addressing Gaps in Pediatric Wellness
Founded in September 2025 by Rushabh Nandu and Dr. Nihar Parekh, RN Kids is focused on building a pediatric wellness brand centered on clean-label and clinically backed formulations.
The company targets everyday health needs in children, including growth, immunity, gut health, and common conditions such as coughs and colds.
Its approach reflects a growing shift among parents toward safer, transparent, and non-medicated alternatives for routine health management.
Building Products Around Trust and Usability
RN Kids is positioning itself around a key insight. Parents are increasingly questioning ingredients, sourcing, and long-term effects of products they use for their children.
The startup aims to bridge this gap by developing formulations that balance clinical effectiveness with ease of use and child-friendly formats.
The focus extends beyond efficacy to include experience, ensuring that products are both acceptable to children and reliable for parents.
Clean-Label as a Category Opportunity
The pediatric wellness segment is evolving alongside broader consumer trends toward clean-label and preventive healthcare.
This shift is creating space for new brands that prioritize transparency, ingredient integrity, and evidence-based formulation over traditional mass-market approaches.
RN Kids is entering this space early, aiming to build credibility through product design and clinical alignment rather than aggressive marketing.
Founder’s Perspective on Market Demand
Co-founder Dr. Nihar Parekh highlighted the gap observed in clinical practice, where everyday pediatric health needs are often addressed through inconsistent or overly medicated solutions.
Rushabh Nandu emphasized the demand for global-quality formulations adapted to the expectations of modern, informed parents who prioritize both safety and convenience.
Positioning for Early Growth
As a pre-seed stage company, RN Kids is focused on product development, market validation, and building a foundation for scale.
The involvement of experienced investors signals confidence in the category’s potential, particularly as consumer health shifts toward preventive and wellness-led solutions.
A Broader Shift in Consumer Health
The rise of pediatric wellness brands reflects a larger transformation in healthcare consumption.
Families are moving from reactive treatment toward proactive care, creating demand for products that fit seamlessly into daily routines while maintaining high standards of safety and effectiveness.
RN Kids’ early positioning suggests it aims to capture this shift by building a brand rooted in trust, science, and usability.
